Mr Puneet Dalmia has been the driving force behind the exponential growth witnessed by the Dalmia Bharat Group since he took over the reins in 2007. He has transformed the organisation and built a professional team that led it on the path of accelerated growth while maintaining the core values of the Group. Mr Dalmia holds a B.Tech degree from IIT-Delhi and is a gold-medalist MBA from IIM-Bangalore. He has a keen interest in education and serves as a Founder and Trustee of Ashoka University and is also a board member of the Central Square Foundation (CSF).

Mr Dalmia is enthusiastic about investing in young businesses and entrepreneurs and is motivated by human values. Prior to leading Dalmia Bharat Group he co-founded JobsAhead.com in 1999, one of the few successful dot-com companies. JobsAhead had a market share close to 50% in India before it was sold to the world’s leading e-recruitment firm Monster.com for Rs. 400 million.
Amongst various other accolades, Mr Dalmia has been recognised as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 in the manufacturing category. He has served as an Advisory Board Member of NSRCEL (NS Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurial Learning), IIM-B and the YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) Delhi Chapter. He firmly believes that good business must be a force for good in society. Mr Dalmia is very passionate about our country and strives to create a better India.
